Lockdown Licks no. 213. “LL’s Two string bend, blues rock solo”. Played on a Telecaster on mid pick up position into a NUX M8 amp set to ‘superlead’. Using a two string repeating riff in G# as the base of the solo.(11th fret E string standard note and 12th fret on the B string with a half step bend used.)
This two note technique gives depth to the sound and compliments the single note runs you may use. It is a technique used in lots of blues guitar based music, be it blues,rock,metal, country, or “southern” rock.
