Intro solo played twice, with the two chords strummed and my own improvised, busier, pronounced lead section in the middle, played right on top of where the chords are played.

‘Days Go By’ is a musical lesson in economy having only 2 chords, yet still soaring with a melodic jazzy blues solo as fine as his 70s achievement, reaching forward with a hippy vibe, great lyrics.
