Keith Richards prefers to use ‘overdrive’ settings rather than saturated distortion or pedals in most of his rhythm playing in the Stones.
He also uses partial 3,4 and 5 string chords with harmonised 3rds/sus’ extensions and finger slide to a ringing open string as I have here. Opening on E and A open chords before rising through B,D and E chords based on partial ‘A’ shape barre chords and ending on a two string lead riff around the 12th fret.
