Lockdown Licks no. 206. “Whole Lotta Love” by Led Zeppelin. Signature riff played through twice on an HB35+ on neck humbucker into a NUX M8 amp set to ‘superlead’ with a touch of reverb. As a slight twist, I let the natural harmonic mark the gaps between the power chords to fill it out. Original played by Jimmy Page.
“Whole Lotta Love” is a song by English rock band Led Zeppelin. It is the opening track on the band’s second album, Led Zeppelin II, and was released as a single in 1969 in several countries.
