“Smooth Operator” by Sade. Song Melody played on a HB35+ guitar into a NUX M8 amp set to clean with a little reverb. On a loop station I recorded the rhythm chords Dm7, Am7,Gm7 with C used in mid section. Then played the song melody on top of the chords. This is a great way of playing a song you want to do, when a singer isn’t able to sing the melody.

“Smooth Operator” is a song by English band Sade from their debut studio album, Diamond Life (1984). It was released as the album’s third single in the United Kingdom as a 7-inch single with “Spirit” as its B-side.
