Lockdown Lick 379

Lockdown Licks no. 379. “Hold The Line” by Toto.

Signature power chord riffs/verse style lead. Original guitar by Steve Lukather. Playing 4..two note power chords on A&D strings for the signature riff & single note ‘verse’ riffs similar to original. Finally a busier short rhythm riff with ascending power chords back to end on signature/chorus riff.

Played on a Harley Benton SC500 Vintage Les Paul style guitar on rhythm setting into a NUX M8 amp set to “superlead” with slight reverb. Using a Trio pedal providing a drum pattern to fit.
