Lockdown lick no.47
“Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana. Chordal signature riff and lead in style of solo. Played on a Gibson Junior(A Fender Telecaster would be good too!) guitar volume on 7, tone on 4. NUX amp on ‘super lead’, full gain with no reverb. The trick with the chord riff is to keep your hand moving all the time and keep the left hand damping strums on time! Original guitar played by Kurt Cobain.
